Issues with rescanning - SuperficialNight - 2023-12-24
i accidentally made the file structure like this
show

| \--Extras
|
\--Season2

| \--Extras
when it should be like this
show

\--Season1

\--Season2
|
\--Extras
Now, I fixed the structure to be like the latter, but when I rescan, it still shows the shows from the former, aka it shows only what is in the extras for each season. To work around this, I have to remove the entire show from the path, then rescan, add it back, and rescan. Is this bug possibility?

here is the log one of the shows that was not working was "The Case Study of Vanitas" even after replacing all metadata it stayed the same

where is says "Could not find file"
is due to me moving it out of the jellyfin dir then syncing & deleting the metadata and moving it back in later then syncing again that fixes it

Can you provide the folder and file names you are having trouble with? From the log it looks like the file/folder names don't conform to our documentation.
