I made the mistake where I set the external app (to play via) on 'Ask' and when I was asked which player to use I picked the wrong one and clicked use 'Always'.
Now I am unable to change the default external player.
This is on a Philips smart (Android) TV within the Jellyfin app.
I tried setting it back to Automatic, then 'Ask' again but the question is never asked again.
Is there a way to change the external app without resetting all the Jellyfin settings and start from scratch?

this isn't a jellyfin thing, it's an android thing, here's some instructions for a "random" device but if it doesn't work for yours you will need to find a more tailored guide https://www.lifewire.com/set-and-clear-android-default-apps-3886190
