Is there no option of adding home videos, like Emby does?

use library content type "Photos"

OK. But then the photos and videos are probably mixed up.
I think it's better if your own photos are separate from your own videos.

Make 2 libraries with content type photos. Call one "Photos" & the other "Home Videos"
