Album Artist Identification and Duplication - GavAttackO - 2023-12-29

I noticed a few days ago when I went to play some music that there were more album artists in my media library. I pushed that thought to the side, thinking I'll fix that later. Well, later is now. Upon trying to figure out what's going on, I noticed there would be misidentified album artists, mostly with albums that contain various artists. The Album Artist tag is set for each of the audio files, but it seems to be outright ignoring it and choosing to use the regular Artist Name tag instead, and adding each artist as a album artist. Some songs, particularly with Doja Cat tracks, have features for other artists which I have added to their Artist Name tag. Here's a segment of my Album Artists section. Only Deface and Doja Cat in my opinion should be considered Album Artists. The other entries are either inside Various Artists albums, such as soundtracks, or they're those aforementioned featured artists.

I've tried editing metadata inside Jellyfin (there are no options regarding album artists). I've also tried editing the autogenerated .NFO files, which is seemed to ignore the edits even after refreshing metadata and libraries multiple times over. And lastly, I've made sure the audio tags for the files are setup correctly, or atleast how I believe their supposed to be. Here's how the tags are setup for one of the Doja Cat songs. This formatting is consistent across all the problematic audio tracks/albums/artists.

Any tips, tricks, or useful information on proper audio tagging and metadata editing would be very helpful to try and remedy this issue that has been driving me up a wall all day. I can try my best to redescribe the issue or add more information as needed.

Also, this is my first post on here. I do greatly apologize if I did something wrong in the making of this post, I'm trying my best as I don't often make forum posts.

I've been dealing with that a bit myself and want/need to spend some time looking into it more, but what I've done to fix some of those issues mostly with Various Artists is I just delete all the metadata and id3 tags and let Lidarr and Picard fix 'em. I know that's more of a workaround than a fix. They will still show up under album artists but not under artists...or vice versa.....
