Proxmox, GPU acceleration, et al - TheAmorphous - 2024-01-11 I've read through countless posts going back years and haven't found a definitive answer to this question. It seems things have changed with Intel processors regarding passthroughs, which is adding to the confusion. I'm on Proxmox 8 with an Intel 13th gen CPU and its iGPU as the only video card. Currently I'm running Jellyfin as a Docker container inside a VM with no hardware acceleration. I'd like to run Jellyfin as an LXC and use the iGPU for decoding, but I also need to be able to use its HDMI out port for a monitor for debugging in cases where the Proxmox web UI becomes unavailable. Is this possible now that Intel CPUs don't support GVT-G? RE: Proxmox, GPU acceleration, et al - TheDreadPirate - 2024-01-11 Honestly, this is probably better asked on the Proxmox forums or subreddit. Jellyfin is tangentially related, but the question is rooted in how Proxmox/virtulization works. And there aren't a lot of Proxmox experts here. Some other users had a pretty good experience on the Proxmox forum. So I'd start there over reddit. https://forum.proxmox.com/ |
