A whole section of movies disappeared - Suicidalparrot - 2024-01-15
Hello all,
Like most folks with questions I'm pretty new to the Jellyfin experience. I've only been using it for a month or two and up until now the experience has been great I run jellyfin on my Windows 11 PC and keep my media on a dedicated external drive. I have 2 libraries "Movies" and "TV". The Movie directory is is divided into genres which the movies are then sorted into. One of those sub-folders is "Animation". Recently for some reason Jellyfin started ignoring everything in that animation folder. The files and directory are still physically on the disc but Jellyfin refuses to see them no matter how many times I delete and re add the whole thing or rename the folder. I feel like it's a simple thing I'm overlooking but I cannot for the life of me find a solution or figure out what setting I might have accidentally triggered. I'm going nuts trying to resolve it, and am seriously considering giving up on the whole Jellyfin experience over it. If any folks can point me in the right direction for a solution, it would be greatly appreciated

Can you share your logs with us via https://sourceb.in/ ? But it sounds like you are nesting your media folders, which is not supported. But I want to take a look at the logs before making any conclusions.
