cant connect from local network - somethingwithanother - 2023-07-21

I installed jellyfin server with flatpak on fedora 38. i went into networking and checked that "Bind to local network address" was set to 0.0.0.0, i checked "Allow remote connections to this server", set 192.168.0.0/24 as the "Remote IP address filter". yet i still cant connect to the server via my phone. it works fine if i enter my server's local ip in my browser on said machine, but doesnt work on another device on my local network. forwarding port 8096 to my server in my router settings doesnt fix the issue. i checked settings in flatseal and the app has network access. I also have the following rules in UFW

8096                      ALLOW IN    192.168.0.0/24
7359                      ALLOW IN    192.168.0.0/24

what am i missing here? idk what else could fix this but all i found only suggest that the "Bind to local network address" was the solution but ive already tried that.

Did you add a rule on the server's firewall to allow connections to port 8096?

I just re-read your post. "Remote IP Address Filter" is for WAN connections. 192.168.0.0/24 should be in "LAN networks". Delete whatever you have in "Remote IP Address Filter". What happens now?
