Watch times and on deck - RDeNatale - 2024-01-28 I recently started the move from plex to Jellyfin. I found a tool to sync watch data between the two. My problem is that on-deck seems to be showing every show in my library that I ever watched. In plex I had maybe a half dozen shows that I was actively watching that showed up in ‘continue watching’ along with items I’d (recently?) partially watched. As I understand it Jellyfin’s on deck works pretty much the way plex continue watching works in regards to tv shows. I see that display settings has ‘max days in next up’ to limit how far back in time it goes. This implies that not just a binary value whether or not an episode or show has been watched, but also the date or datetime it was last watched. I think that the tool set the watch times to the time that the tool ran. Is it possible to reset this via the API? I’m having problems grokking the ‘object model’ behind the API. RE: Watch times and on deck - TheDreadPirate - 2024-01-28 The dev for Finamp wrote a short blog post explaining some aspects of the JF api. Hopefully it has what you need. https://jmshrv.com/posts/jellyfin-api/. |
