HELP - Pass email from JFA-Go to Jellyseerr - diogo_coelho - 2024-02-02 Hello guys, I have both JFA-Go and Jellyseerr in my server, the former to manage users and the later to manage requests. The problem is JFA-Go doesn't have a Jellyseerr integration and I've trying to use the api on the Jellyseerr side to set the email addresses on all the users, the thing is the email field on Jellyseerr is read only. Do you guys know of a way to do this or will I have to ask my users to set their emails? RE: HELP - Pass email from JFA-Go to Jellyseerr - bitmap - 2024-02-03 These are both third-party (i.e., not developed by the Jellyfin team) applications that some folks on here will use, but probably can't provide much support. You'll probably want to engage on whatever platform Jellyseerr support is most active on (GitHub, Discord, etc...). From my experience, I don't see an easy way to do what you want. When I imported a user from Jellyfin > Jellyseerr (not required with the options I have set), it entered a lowercase version of the username in the email field. So you might be able to require in jfa-go that users have their email address as username, then that would transfer to Jellyseerr, but you'd have to test that or open an issue with the team on GitHub for a feature request. I'm looking to do the same thing, but currently using LLDAP + Authelia for user / access management. Would love to have a way to "import" / forward email addresses to Jellyseerr without having to force the email addresses as usernames |
