How works TV(m3u) the same channel - rysiusek - 2024-02-11 Hello all, I want to ask about how works iptv wiuth m3u list. In settings there is an option that limit simultaneous stream at the moment. I limit to 1 but when 2 users play the same channel they can do this without any limitation. How is it works? Users get transmisions from codinng without the same connection to the provider? I worried about my limitation from provider so I just want to be sure. RE: How works TV(m3u) the same channel - TheDreadPirate - 2024-02-11 This appears to be a bug. I was able to replicate your issue on both 10.8.13 and unstable (10.9). I am going to open a ticket for this. Are you sure that is a bug? Maybe it works like multicast and all other users can watch the same channel on the same time without initialization new network connection to the provider. RE: How works TV(m3u) the same channel - TheDreadPirate - 2024-02-12 I am almost certain it is a bug. The description of the config tells me this. 99% certain Jellyfin in no way multicasts. If it did multicast, why have the config other than bandwidth? Even if the reason was for bandwidth, it doesn't help that it isn't honored. |
