EIT (hdhr: us broacast) for guide data - racale3127@semonir.com - 2023-07-24 Long time mythtv user, learned about jellyfin over the weekend - I am so impressed. In mythTV, hdhr devices can read transmitted EIT (program schedule) and populate that into the database - link. Is this possible in jellyfin, or must we setup other sources for guide data? RE: EIT (hdhr: us broacast) for guide data - TheDreadPirate - 2023-07-24 AFAIK, no. The programming schedule is retrieved from external sources. I only use IPTV sources, so maybe I'm wrong about how Jellyfin works with OTA sources. But that's my understand from the documentation and old reddit threads I can find. https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/live-tv/#guide RE: EIT (hdhr: us broacast) for guide data - Jerky - 2023-09-17 (2023-07-24, 02:24 AM)racale3127@semonir.com Wrote: Long time mythtv user, learned about jellyfin over the weekend - I am so impressed. There is an XMLTV guide server you can run locally hereĀ https://github.com/iptv-org/epg RE: EIT (hdhr: us broacast) for guide data - Yankees4life - 2023-09-20 (2023-07-24, 02:24 AM)racale3127@semonir.com Wrote: Long time mythtv user, learned about jellyfin over the weekend - I am so impressed. Within JF? No But you could use EPG Collector for that https://sourceforge.net/projects/epgcollector/ RE: EIT (hdhr: us broacast) for guide data - Jerky - 2023-09-20 I think this is an easy solution, also https://gist.github.com/idolpx/c82747bb740c303f56ad8a1e8f17d575 |
