Playback Quality - jordymoz - 2024-02-13 Any help much appreciated, So this problem has only just popped its head up and the only things that have changed is a new modem (one blew up in a storm) and the ethernet jack on my Nvidia shield is no good so im using a usb to ethernet adapter. Now I have tested my LAN speed with: https://totusoft.com/lanspeed (seem like a great program) and im getting 108 Mbps which should be plenty for the remux im trying to stream which is looking for 65 Mbps, is their some weird encoding setting happening in the background causing the playback to freeze that im unaware of, I am new to all of this so please go easy on me. RE: Playback Quality - TheDreadPirate - 2024-02-13 If transcoding occurred it would be in the same directory as the jellyfin log. If there was no transcoding, then there wouldn't be one. Can you replicate your problem and re-share the log? The log you shared doesn't contain any playback related logs. RE: Playback Quality - jordymoz - 2024-02-13 no worries that's all I have, so assuming their is no transcoding which using an NVidia shield I should be able to direct play anyways it is more then likely a bandwidth bottleneck issue?
