Subtitles not found on Jellyfin for AndroidTV - harexew - 2024-02-20

So I'm having a problem with problem with the subtitles in my media files. My files mostly have subtitles in SSA or PGS format and sometimes both, but no matter the format, I have to select them manually every time I start a new episode, otherwise it stays disabled.
I run Jellyfin 10.8.13 on Arch 64-Bit, installed from the AUR Package. Hardware Acceleration is enabled, running on a Quadro P600 with the proprietary Nvidia Drivers.
The Android App is the newest Version available on the Play Store, running on a Xiaomi Mi Box S (1st Gen).

When you say Android I am assuming you mean Android TV. If so, this is a known issue. This is not caused by your server or media.
