Time to kill a paused video in 10.9.0 - 0TTA - 2024-02-25

Hi!
I'm using version 10.9.0. Is there a way to stop the videos from automatically quitting after being paused for a while? Like, is there an option to disable this feature or adjust the timeout setting?

How long before it timed out for you? Testing on my unstable setup now.

10 m and 30s

In the previous versions, I keep it paused for days, then resume it without any problems.

Since you're using 10.9, I'm assuming the client is either a browser, Jellyfin Media Player, or Android?

It happens on what I use, which is the browser and Win11 Jellyfin Media Player.

Is your whole computer idle or just the tab that the player is in? I haven't been able to replicate, but I've also continued to use my computer in the background while the unstable tab is minimized.

I was able to replicate the behavior. Not clear whether this is intended or not.

I'm glad to hear that. I find it particularly annoying when this happens at the end of an episode, as it then marks the episode as watched. Afterwards, I have to go back and try to find the point where I was paused. Should I report this, or my job here is done?

Please submit an issue here. Make sure to put either "10.9" or "unstable" at the start of your title.
