Caddy directs my domain to random websites. - astrobroski - 2024-02-26

Hi and thank you for viewing my thread.
I am following the quick start guide for Windows, and I have reached step 7 under the Reverse Proxy with Caddy section. I went to test my domain, and instead of directing me to the Jellyfin login page, i was directed to a wholesale cleaning supplies website, and then when I restarted caddy It directed me to an online tool and supply store.
[b]My Caddy File[/b]
Code:
example.duckdns.org

reverse_proxy 127.0.0.1:8096
Caddy has not generated any logs, and I am using Windows on my computer.

If this is a newly acquired duckdns address, make sure you updated it first. Its possible it belonged to someone else before.

Hi sorry for the late reply, I have updated it before but I did it again and it somehow worked? Thanks.

Whatever DNS you are using cached the previous IP? Took a while to update? IDK
