Synology reverse proxy with Jillyfin in Docker Compose - Kroowm - 2024-03-01

Hi
I can't use my jellyfin server outside of my local network
I used this guide to install jellyfin -> https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-guide-running-jellyfin-in-synology-s-dsm-7-using-docker-compose
and this guide for using the reverse proxy -> https://mariushosting.com/synology-how-to-add-wildcard-certificate/

the domain name I created during the reverse proxy works on my local network but not outside
I can access my nas from the outside via ddns, so I assume that my ports are open and I don't know what to do anymore...

I don't really know what you shared so that you could help me so don't hesitate to ask

So I leave it to you

Can you share your reverse proxy config via sourcebin? Censor the domain name.

Not exactly. Which proxy are you using? I can't currently access the site you linked for the reverse proxy guide.

I may have found an answer to my problem, but I haven't checked it this week.
On a French forum on Synology NAS, I have someone with the same symptoms and he concluded that he could not connect to a mobile network (which I am trying today due to lack of a other internet network)
and pushing further in this direction I found another topic (with the same symptoms) on the forum of my mobile operator, explaining that it could be accessed thanks to the reverse proxy via other operators but not mine (in this case). In this case too I cannot do the test...) and he was told that the mobile network was in IPv6 which could perhaps have caused the problem.
From there I have no other leads on Synology and IPv6 in reverse proxy. If you have sources I am interested

Sorry. Just got around to re-reading your question. In your screenshot, why is the destination port 8084 instead of 8096?

Because it's just a example for make a reverse proxy in synology. I adapted for jellyfin.

I was finally able to test my jellyfin server at a friend's house and it worked so there is definitely a problem with the mobile network or maybe just my operator's mobile network
