LG WebOS 03.30.78 - WhyWebOS - 2024-03-03 Hello, First of all I'm a new user for the software, and have successfully used Emby Media in the past, however due to the annoy caused by Emby's premium package advertisement, I have decided to give Jellyfin a try, installing it on my media server after unninstalling Emby. I tried installing Jellyfin on a LG WebOS SmartTV, and, when I try to connect to it, it only displays the message "Unable to connect: Request timeout". To try to fix this issue, I checked that my server IP address is correct as well as the port for Jellyfin, I made the server IP static, changed the UPNP option both on and off, tried switching ports on the server, and restarting both the router, server, and TV. I also made sure that the firewall isn't blocking the connection to the network. The server is a laptop with Windows. the smart Tv is using WebOS version 03.30.78. Please help. RE: LG WebOS 03.30.78 - TheDreadPirate - 2024-03-03 uPnP only matters for external connections, and shouldn't be relied on for that purpose. In Windows click Start, type "Resource Monitor", click on the Network tab. There will be a table called "Listening ports". Find jellyfin.exe on port 8096. There will a Firewall status column. What does it say for jellyfin.exe on port 8096? |
