Deletion issue with Kodi Jellyfin Plugin - jedicoach44 - 2023-07-27
Hi all. I'm not sure if it's a bug or issue, and I've done a bunch of research and seen multiple older issues but nothing current.
I'm running the most up to date version of Jellyfin in a docker on unRAID and I have Kodi setup with Kodi 20.1 Nexus fully updated and the Jellyfin (not JellyCon) plugin installed and updated.
Everything works perfectly with playing videos, watching etc, but for some reason I can't delete anything from the Kodi front end. I have the settings option in Kodi to allow deletion, and I see the option under "Jellyfin Options" but nothing actually deletes when I click it.
Any advice or help would be awesome and welcome. If I have this in the wrong section, I apologize as well!

1. Check the jellyfin logs for clues.
2. Check in the jellyfin dashboard, not in Kodi, if the user has permissions in jellyfin to delete from that library. I'm not sure if this is the same setting you said you checked in Kodi's UI.
3. Check in unRAID that whatever user Jellyfin is running as has sufficient permissions.
