Android External Player Resetting Video Options - matchaman - 2024-03-10 I have a few anime movies, so I want to be able to pick between Japanese/English, but when using an external player, in this case VLC, even though I selected the Japanese version of the film, in Japanese audio, it will open the English version with English audio. I can still select the Japanese audio, but there is no way for me to then select the Japanese version of the film causing the lip syncing to be a bit wrong and the text not matching. Is there a way to fix this, or will I need to seperate the Movies in my library? RE: Android External Player Resetting Video Options - TheDreadPirate - 2024-03-10 A lot of things break when using external players. I'm assuming this is Android TV? Why not exo or libVLC? I'm assuming this is Android TV? Why not exo or libVLC? Not Android TV, its a Samsung S22 Ultra and Pixel 8 Pro (GrapheneOS). When I went to play the video in the web player, it wouldn't load, in the exo, it would just play the audio and no video. I believe some of that may come from hardware limitions of my server (A ZimaBlade which is an intel celeron N3450). I am going to try attaching a GPU to see if that improves things with the main 2 methods besides the external player.
