Issue with AudioBooks - tageltheabel - 2024-03-19 I can start listening to an audiobook I have and lets say I was ~50mins in. It will pause the audio but my phone thinks it is still playing and it will be at like the 8 minute mark or so. When I go back to the app it shows as if it was just started so still hanging at the ~50 min mark. And I have to close the app and then my place is not saved. Its really hard to describe I guess but it only happens with audio books and I know if I play the audio file on my phone via like samsung music app it works okay. So wondering what may be happening with the app. I posted what I think was the point of the app crash but I haven't dug into the logs all that too much but hopefully it helps.. ![]() RE: Issue with AudioBooks - TheDreadPirate - 2024-03-19 What version of Jellyfin are you running and what OS is the server running? If you are using docker, which image you using? RE: Issue with AudioBooks - tageltheabel - 2024-03-19 Server version: 10.8.13 OS: Linux with docker docker image: jellyfin/jellyfin App version 2.6.0 on Android RE: Issue with AudioBooks - TheDreadPirate - 2024-03-19 What codec and container is the audiobook? When I get home I will attempt to replicate your issue. RE: Issue with AudioBooks - TheDreadPirate - 2024-03-20 I was not able to reproduce on my docker test system with my pixel 6a as the client. My audiobooks are AAC in m4b containers. What library type are your audiobooks in? RE: Issue with AudioBooks - tageltheabel - 2024-03-21 It's an mp3 not sure the codec and all my files are in a raid 1 mount share of 2 TB HDDs on my Linux system. Not sure what type of containers they are though. They all sit in /mmt/media/audiobooks/ for them. RE: Issue with AudioBooks - TheDreadPirate - 2024-03-21 MP3 containers can only use the MP3 codec. I don't see any issues on the Jellyfin for Android git. Go ahead and submit an issue there. Provide a larger portion of your log. https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin-android/issues |
