Some shows crashing Jellyfish for Tizen - Mazen - 2024-03-22 Hello there, I recently discovered Jellyfin and have set it up with my home media and Samsung TV. And its been amazing with one exception. Anytime I try and watch old episodes of Babylon 5 on the TV it plays for about a minute then dies. Works fine when I stream to my phone, or any of the computers. I'm guessing there is probably an obvious solution - help would be appreciated. I wonder if your TV doesn't properly support those parameters. RE: Some shows crashing Jellyfish for Tizen - Mazen - 2024-03-22 It could be. Is there an easy way I can search to try a different show with the same parameters? I don't suppose it's possible from jellyfin to decode and play the file from my server? Or am I going to be better off re-encoding the whole series? 😠RE: Some shows crashing Jellyfish for Tizen - TheDreadPirate - 2024-03-22 (2024-03-22, 09:18 PM)Mazen Wrote: It could be. Not that I'm aware of. I tried to write up some loop and use ffprobe, but I couldn't get all the ffmpeg/ffprobe banner stuff to go away. The reports plugin doesn't list the frame rate or bit depth. RE: Some shows crashing Jellyfish for Tizen - Mazen - 2024-03-22 Thanks I'll get re-encoding. Have a great friday |
