Can't log in - aaronH1 - 2024-03-30 Hello all I am new to Jellyfin. I've had jellyfin installed on my pc for about a month now and it works very good. I decided to add a trueNas server that is up and running. When I search for my server from my TV it finds my server but when i enter the password jellyfin says its incorrect. Am I missing something. I can't even change my password or user name. I have tried every thing. RE: Can't log in - TheDreadPirate - 2024-03-30 What is the TrueNAS server doing? Is it just storing media or did you also install Jellyfin on it? RE: Can't log in - aaronH1 - 2024-03-30 (2024-03-30, 03:26 AM)TheDreadPirate Wrote: What is the TrueNAS server doing? When i go to add my server ip address i get this error RE: Can't log in - TheDreadPirate - 2024-03-30 Just for clarity. You installed Jellyfin on the NAS so you don't have to run it on the Windows machine? Or is it running on both? They don't share users or databases. If you want to use your NAS for STORAGE you do NOT need to install Jellyfin on it. |
