Which latest version of Android TV app is compatible with 10.7.7? - ameldur - 2024-03-30 I updated Android TV app recently and now says unsupported version as im using 10.7.7 due 10.8.* being full with bugs and seems would never been fixed according to their Github. So which version i should download to use with 10.7.7 right now? RE: Which latest version of Android TV app is compatible with 10.7.7? - TheDreadPirate - 2024-03-30 You could make a backup of your jellyfin and give 10.8.13 a try. It works well for a lot of us, including myself. I also have an Android TV and has no complaints about bugs. 10.9 is also right around the corner. https://jellyfin.org/posts/testing-10.9.0/ If you are adamant on downgrading Android TV, I think everything after 0.15 requires at least 10.8. Maybe even 10.8.10. RE: Which latest version of Android TV app is compatible with 10.7.7? - ameldur - 2024-03-30 I did setup 10.8.13 for testing and still issues are existings which are working in 10.7.7 https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/7959 https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/8042 https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/7933 https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/8036 Why apps are forced to use latest Jellyfin? Changes in the Jellyfin API. RE: Which latest version of Android TV app is compatible with 10.7.7? - niels - 2024-03-30 I would strongly advise against using Jellyfin 10.7 (or even everything before 10.8.13) due to multiple security issues that have been discovered (and fixed). |
