Mixed folder problem - Goldman - 2023-08-01 Hey guys, i'm new to jellyfin and finding it really awesome, but there's a little problem i'm having: Right now i've got all my shows in their corresponding folder, but i'm using a "new stuff folder" for things that i've still got to see, and havent gotten to (maybe it's not good enough to deserve it's own folder). The problem is that, jellyfin treats this folder as a "show", even though inside there's a mix of multiple shows. Also, i cant find a way to order by filename, so i'm getting it ordered by chapter (so, chapter 2 of a series is followed by chapter 2 of a different series, instead of chapter 3 of the same series) Is there any way to solve this that doesn't require making a new folder for each series? RE: Mixed folder problem - TheDreadPirate - 2023-08-01 I can't think of a way. I would have this "new stuff" folder as a completely separate library if it isn't already. Not as a folder within another library. The documentation says you need folders for each show. But I'm curious if just a proper file name would be enough. Give it a try and report back. But don't be surprised if you do need folders for each show. https://jellyfin.org/docs/general/server/media/shows/ |
