External acces over HTTPS - OrkaXL - 2023-08-01
Hi all,
After configuring everything to my best knowledge I've run into an issue which I can't seem to resolve. Both the firewall on the server and the router allow the ports 8096 and 8920 but only the http connection works on the local network, in attachment are my settings. Hopefully someone has an idea what clumsy thing I might have misconfigured.

It is extremely highly suggested you use a reverse proxy for HTTPS. Or general web access, period. The devs have made clear in other posts and in the matrix chat that jellyfin is not hardened.
