Jellyfin android app has issues with the seek bar and playback - Brblue - 2024-04-14
My jellyfin server is set up and working well on all my devices except for my phone. For some reason on my phone some stuff doesnt play at all and loads forever, and the seek bar is broken, so if i try to move the position of where the video plays or skip forward it just resets the video to the very start. It works on other android phones but not my pixel 7 for some reason. It works on web. The only thing I can think of is that I have graphene os installed which might cause some issues. Im at a loss of whats wrong though because it works flawlessly on other devices. Thanks

I just found out that changing the video player type in client settings to integrated player fixed it for me. Very odd bug

I was just about to ask that. For the record, future releases of our Android app should default to the integrated player.
