Transcode File path - nma - 2024-04-14

I have jellyfin installed on my ZimaBoard using CasaOs. My media is stored on a Synology Nas and the zimaboard has read/write access to my media folder. The issue is that the transcoding logs are currently being stored on the internal SD of the ZimaBoard and quickly uses up all the space. So I went to "playback" in the settings and pointed the transcode logs to a sub folder in the media folder on my Nas so that my Nas can store the transcode logs. However, when I do this, my media won't play. Any reason why?

Can you share your logs with us via sourcebin or pastebin?

RE: Transcode File path - nma - 2024-04-15

What logs do you want to see?

RE: Transcode File path - TheDreadPirate - 2024-04-15

I guess the ffmpeg log since this is for transcoding.

This is the log when jellyfin is using the default file path (internal sd card)

Do any ffmpeg logs get created after you moved the transcode directory? Can you share your main jellyfin log?

RE: Transcode File path - nma - 2024-04-15

It's a fairly big log, not sure how to share it. No ffmpeg logs were created. Only a main jellyfin log.

Zip it and attach to a post (click "new reply" or "preview post" to get the full reply editor).

Sorry for the late reply. This is the zipped log when I edit the transcode file path and point it to my NAS.

You said the ffmpeg log from earlier was from before you moved the transcode path? Is there one from after? The main log is reporting that ffmpeg is crashing. "ffmpeg exited with code 1".
