Music genres are not updated - Trenobol - 2024-04-18
Hello everyone!
I am writing for the first time and asking for help
- Jellyfin 10.8.13
- Docker version (on my Unraid NAS)
I use Jellyfin for movies and music. For music It is very convenient)
But now there is a problem with updating the music library
When I adding albums, they are not added to the genres section
I tried several times to delete/add the library, clear the cache, update medialibrary
But they are still not added.
I have attached a couple of screenshots for understanding (example "punk rock")

Are the metadata tags in the files populated? Jellyfin is pretty dependent on ID3, or similar, tagging for things like genre.

Everything is filled in, but only this artist is not displayed (punk rock)
