Getting DLNA to work with Hisense TV - zszsz212 - 2024-04-19 Hello everyone. Could anyone assist me with getting DLNA casting/playing work for my Hisense TV running VIDA OS by creating a custom DLNA profile? Neither casting nor accessing the DLNA server works (the tv sees the jellyfin DLNA server, and jellyfin sees the tv as a DLNA renderer, so it's not a network issue). When I try to cast a file from jellyfin the volume just gets set to 100% and nothing plays. The content is pretty standard h264/AAC 1080p video so the TV should be able to support it hardware wise. DLNA viewing does work from plex for the same TV, which makes me think it's a matter of settings. I see that there are various DLNA profiles on Jellyfin , but none of them are for Hisense TVs. RE: Getting DLNA to work with Hisense TV - Serge K - 2024-04-19 has VIDAA any web browser? if yes run web browser and type IpJellyfinServer:8096 may it will work RE: Getting DLNA to work with Hisense TV - ingoratsdorf - 2025-04-05 You have obviously established that it is not a network issue. Good start. The range of formats supported varies incredibly across devices. Have you tried a different file or file format? h264 should be supported, AAC should as well. But what container? The internet is full of issues with the Hisense TVs and DLNA. Even issues with plex and other servers.
