Is there a way to have subtitles by default set to ON to the first found subtitle file.
Most of the time, that choice would be fine and if by chance it isn't, we could just change the subtitle file.
I sometimes have trouble with accents so I like to display the subtitles for better understanding.

There is no option to enable the "first" subtitle, you can however in your profile settings -> Subtitles set the preferred language for subtitles to be displayed.

There's also a setting called "subtitle mode" in profile settings -> Subtitles. Set that to always play and it will always play the subtitles accompanied by that media.
