Does Kodi have a Jellyfin Skin? - Owner - 2024-04-27 Jellyfin - Appearance & Screens are close to Emby’s Screens and great. Kodi – Has various skins but they don't seem to have one that is similar to Jellyfin / Emby RE: Does Kodi have a Jellyfin Skin? - mcarlton00 - 2024-04-27 No, we haven't created our own Kodi skin at this time, and the closest is Embuary which has lots of things hardcoded to the EmbyCon addon. Most of it works, but there's a few things that don't. There's a more thorough writeup about the skin and customizing it here: https://github.com/jellyfin/jellycon/issues/14 RE: Does Kodi have a Jellyfin Skin? - Veisen - 2024-11-27 if you want Embuary skin here is my mod of Jellycon 0.8.0 install it and then you can install stock Embuary skin RE: Does Kodi have a Jellyfin Skin? - CDuv - 2024-12-29 (2024-11-27, 12:20 PM)Veisen Wrote: if you want Embuary skin here is my mod of Jellycon 0.8.0 install it and then you can install stock Embuary skin What are the modifications? What this modified JellyCon add-on allows (for Embuary) that stock won't? RE: Does Kodi have a Jellyfin Skin? - Stogie87 - 2025-07-01 Hi, I'm actually using the Embuary skin, which I’ve significantly expanded and customized specifically for use with Jellyfin. It’s based on the latest Kodi Omega version by Teddyknuddel, but I’ve added a number of improvements and new features – especially tailored for full Jellyfin integration. If you're looking for something that feels more like the Jellyfin/Emby UI, this version might be a good fit. > I'm not a developer – I created all of this with the help of AI tools. It started as a personal side project, but it’s grown into something very stable and fully usable. Core Features: -------------- - Global home widgets for each library category – no widget duplication required - Dynamic codec flags showing: - Video resolution (4K, 1080p, etc.) - Video & audio codecs (HEVC, AVC, DTS, EAC3, etc.) - Audio channels (2.0, 5.1, 7.1, etc.) - Codec Style Switcher – toggle between “standard” and “colorful” icon sets via skin setting - Codec Resizer – scale codec logos freely via skin settings - HDR Type Detection using Player.Process – supports and displays Dolby Vision, HDR10, HDR10+ (icons + labels) - CPM Support for CoreELEC CPM Builds: https://github.com/cpm-code/xbmc/releases/ - Integrated Episode Jumper – allows easy skipping to previous/next episode with on-screen feedback - Fully compatible with Jellyfin & JellyCon Kodi Plugin, but i personally prefer the jellyfin plugin in Kodi: https://kodi.jellyfin.org/repository.jellyfin.kodi.zip Fixes & Enhancements: --------------------- - Layout fixes for both 2K and 4K resolutions – no oversized elements, properly scaled views - Various bug fixes – improved visibility logic, content containers, proper alignment, and more - Consistent support across all view types – Poster, Wide, Wall, Landscape, etc. - Easy updates via repository – the skin can be updated conveniently through Kodi's add-on manager You can choose between a **2K version** (for 1080p/1440p displays) and a **4K version** (optimized for UHD setups), depending on your screen resolution and use case, but i still prefer the 2K Version for my 4K TV.
