IPTV not working (Connection refused: localhost:8866) - hana9ko - 2024-04-27
Hello there,
So I’m trying to set up IPTV on my Jellyfin Server. I’ve tested the m3us with VLC and they work, however Jellyfin won’t load them. I have it run in host mode in a docker. Checking the log file I get a Connection Refused error, but I’m not sure how to fix that. I’d appreciate any help, as I’m still new to homelab, docker and Jellyfin.

I recommend that on your IPTV you do not use ts but m3u8 and if you want directly go to a folder then create an example.m3u file and then put your list there that is not more than 200 channels if your server does not crash, After that it tries to reproduce.

Oh, I had a list .m3u file in a folder prior to trying xTeVe, but it also kept constantly loading in the menu. I will reproduce it and see what the error was there.
It just never connects to a stream it seems.
