Hi,
when i'm sorting my movies by "date added" it won't really work. The sorting is not really correct.
For example, i added 2 movies today, one of the movies is on the second place and the other is on 12th place in the list.
This did not work for a long time for me and never figured out why...
All other sortings are working fine. Also have a Plex Server (which should be shut down in future, to use Jellyfin instead), using the same Media files and there the sorting on date added is working fine.

You should check what you have enabled in the dashboard.
Go to [Dashboard > Libraries > Display (on top banner)]. In this screen, the first option is "Date added behavior for new content".
I think by default, the date added is derived from the file's creation time.
Change this option to "Use date scanned into the library". This will apply to all your new files scanned into your libraries from now on.
I'm not sure if this will retroactively change the dates for your past media.

Now added a few more media files and it seems to work now
Anyways i did not understand, why this option is not set "correctly" by default would make more sense in my opinion...
