Search partially broken - MoonOverMiami - 2024-05-04
This is for ROKU only. Is not broken on Android, Apple, PC.
Search function in the ROKU app (ver 2.0.7) does not return people names. Search only returns Movie name and TV Show names. All other platforms provide people name results using Search.

example: if I search George Clooney on Roku search, result is zero/null. If I search "Ocean's Eleven" I see the movie as the search result. I can scroll down to the cast and see George Clooney and see his bio and a list of all the movies he is in from my library. But searching for a named actor/director/producer, etc returns no results. This is just on Roku.

I don't have access to my Jellyfin at the moment. Can you try this on the web client. I'm not sure that Jellyfin search will return People results, period. But I've never tried either.
