DVD Order Doesn't Work - Sierra - 2024-05-08 I have had this issue for some time now. I set it to DVD order in metadata and even set the language and country for good measure. I refresh metadata and replace all. Nothing, except custom art work, changes. First time I had to manually edit it was a pain but thankfully just one episode. I'm not running into this issue with a whole series that is out of order since my files are DVD order (correct) and only will display as Aired. I just don't understand what the issue is. My top priority for metadata is set to TheTVDB. I have also changed the priority order and even disabled TheTVDB, hopefully getting the other providers to kick in. Nothing. Does anyone have any clue as to why this is happening? Running 10.8.13 RE: DVD Order Doesn't Work - TheDreadPirate - 2024-05-08 Try removing the series from your library, rescan so it picks up the change, re-add it and then rescan again. I can't explain it other than sometimes metadata "sticks" when it shouldn't. No logs to indicate why. RE: DVD Order Doesn't Work - ALD76 - 2024-05-23 DVD ordering now works correctly with the latest TheTVDB plugin update. It changes the display order but the episodes that changed order and now linked to the wrong files, making it a worthless cosmetic change and nothing else. I refreshed metadata. Still wrong. I would like to hear from someone that has actually thoroughly tested this feature and has found it to be full working. RE: DVD Order Doesn't Work - TheDreadPirate - 2024-06-26 I typically use TMDB, but had to use TVDB as my primary because it was the only source with the correct DVD order for King of the Hill. If your files aren't named correctly to match the order you want, Jellyfin isn't going to magically figure out which is which by changing to the DVD order. RE: DVD Order Doesn't Work - dreamon - 2024-06-26 dvd ordering works absolutely fine, i am using the latest v10.9.7 build with TVDB plugin installed. it was working with previous builds as well. added some screenshots from my own server to show the dvd order working for three animated series. i was the one who added the dvd orderings of both "the catannoga cats" and "the yogi bear show" to tvdb and they show up as they should be ![]() third screenshot is animé series Monogatari which has 4 different orders on TVDB. there must be something wrong with your configuration or the way you renamed the files. are you sure you named the files the way tvdb does and then selected dvd order from the shows's metadata settings? if so, you have to fully refresh the metadata (including changing current images) to make the new ordering appear. Filebot can rename the episodes easily to match dvd order if you have so many files. |
