File names in Mixed Movies and Shows - dduniam - 2024-05-09
I'm pretty new to Jellyfin, and it seems that using "Mixed Movies and Shows" is not a recommended library type.
However, I have quite a few videos that don't fall under the Movies or Shows banner. For example, family videos, horse races (which I have a ton of), I could go on, but the point is that they don't belong under in a "commercial media bucket" since no media details will exist for them.
However, when browsing media files in this library, all I get is a generic poster image with no file details - as I navigate across each poster, the details are only shown at the top. Is there a way to get, at the very least, the file name to appear against/beneath each file poster please ?

You can also try the photos or music video library types. There are a couple options in the library settings to "prefer" the embedded title or not.
