New Jellyfin Server/Web release: 10.9.0 - ReleaseBot - 2024-05-11
We are pleased to announce the latest stable release of Jellyfin, version 10.9.0!
This major release brings many new features, improvements, and bugfixes to improve your Jellyfin experience.
As always, please ensure you stop your Jellyfin server and take a full backup before upgrading!

I've been using Plex for years, but am finally making the switch to Jellyfin. Currently using my Mac Mini M1 and have been looking forward to 10.9. Thanks for all your work on this!

The Windows and macOS releases require some manual tasks. Windows is up now, macOS will follow later.

If nothing bad happens it should be out in 24 hours after the initial version tag is released
