I want to create a collection in Jellyfin for a specific actor.
In Plex, there is feature called "Smart Collection". In that, we able to convert a "Search filter" as a collection so it will be automatically get updated when a new content is added. So, we can create a search filter for an actor and convert them to a Smart Collection.
Does Jellyfin have this feature ?
If not, how to achieve the same ?

The only thing that even resembles that is the TMDB Boxset Plugin. I know that TMDB has "Boxsets" for people, but I'm not sure if the TMDB Boxset plugin for Jellyfin will create collections for people/actors.
Give it a try, though. The TMDB Boxset plugin is in the official plugin repo.

I'm also looking for such a feature of Smart Collections or Smart Playlists for Videos as well as Music.
I used Kodi in the past and migrated to Jellyfin foinally.
Smart Lists and Filters would be great.
has it already been implemented somehow, or is it on your agenda ?

I second (or third or whatever) this. And adding that it should be for any reasonable related field: actor, director, writer, producer, studio, genre, etc. With boolean logic ((genre IS horror OR director IS John Carpenter) AND decade IS 1980s)
