Trouble with getting the TV show metadata correct - cav - 2024-05-21 (Sorry if this has been posted in an incorrect thread) Ok so on my drive, I have like 50 different TV shows and they are categorised with the show name, a subfolder for each season, and files in the season's folder. Example structure: https://pasteboard.co/jcoDekRn8Z2m.png https://pasteboard.co/owNrgtHxg86u.png But Jellyfin somehow puts all my tv shows these. https://pasteboard.co/Qs3jp7BbIoG6.png Also, if I check inside the tv shows, a lot the episode names are mixed up as well. And a few shows don't even exist but the thumbnail says otherwise. I've tried deleting all metadata and refreshing again but nothing changed. Can someone suggest me what I can do to fix this? P.S. - Movies's metadata are fine. RE: Trouble with getting the TV show metadata correct - TheDreadPirate - 2024-05-21 You can't nest shows in this manner. It takes all folder names into account when generating queries to online DBs. You would have to point the library directory at the English/Animated folder. Or any other sub-folder you have in tv shows. RE: Trouble with getting the TV show metadata correct - cav - 2024-05-21 @TheDreadPirate - Thanks so much for your suggestion, I put all my tv shows in one folder and set it as the library path, and now they all get picked up real nice by Jellyfin. Cheers. |
