Android app disconnecting from server and adding http to IP - LoocPac - 2024-05-23

Hello,

I have been able to get everything working, works great on Chrome and even on the IOS app on I-pads and I-Phones, but every time someone with an android device in my house connects to the server using the app, randomly from 5 minutes to maybe an hour the app will disconnect from the server and add http:// in front of the IP address which prevents it from connecting to the server. The only way that the Android app will connect to the server is if it is only the IP address with out the prefix. Once it does this it will not let you remove it, so you have to go clear cash and clear data, basically reinstalling the app, to get it to reconnect, but then it just kicks you and puts the prefix back on. Is this something that I have done wrong on the setup of the server or some other small thing that I have mucked up in the process?

It looks like ALOT of people are having the same issue, but going through all of that it does not seem there is a fix, just a lot of people with the same problem. Thank you for that quick reply though.

It also seems that I am lacking information if i compare my post to those. But this is an app issue i am nearly 100% sure because once I get disconnected the app adds http:// to the IP and for whatever reason the android app can not connect to my server if http: is there. But all of the IOS devices connect just fine. I had a lot of help getting everything set up from my brother, but he is not sure what is going on.

I can get more information and the server logs but I would need to know what information is helpful in this situation. I am not a developer of any kind.
