Android app pauses audio playback between tracks - cellblock2187 - 2024-05-24
The Android app pauses playing between tracks when the screen is off. You have to press play to have the song actually resume. If the screen is left on, this issue does not happen. Also, this does not happen if using Jellyfin through Chrome browser on Android or on a desktop.

But if you need a good music player for Jellyfin, check out Finamp. And I'd recommend you sign up for the beta in the Play Store listing so that you get the revamped version of Finamp. Lots of new features and refinements and its far enough along in its beta phase that it is very stable.
