Start a video by clicking on the primary video image left of the title - phoenix22 - 2024-05-25 I noticed the following with the Jellyfin web client and Jellyfin Media Player: Before updating to Jellyfin 10.9.X, you could start a video by clicking the primary video image left of the title on the video detail page. Now with Jellyfin 10.9.X, nothing happens. The only way to start the video is by clicking the play icon. Has something changed or is this a bug? RE: Start a video by clicking on the primary video image left of the title - Efficient_Good_5784 - 2024-05-25 This seems funny to me. I remember a lot of people not wanting this feature, but there are also those who like it. It's not a bug and it's done intentionally (at least I think). Before, when you hovered over the primary cover art that you describe, you used to get a play button appear over it indicating you can click it to play it. From what I remember, a lot of people didn't like it, so work to remove it was made. It was turned into an invisible button, the way you remember it, until v10.8.13. So now with v10.9, looks like the functionality is completely removed. I don't know if a toggle could have been implemented to switch between having this enabled or not. To be honest, I prefer the big primary cover also not acting as a play button, but that's just me. RE: Start a video by clicking on the primary video image left of the title - phoenix22 - 2024-05-25 This is generally not a problem. I was just used to clicking on the primary video image to start the video and was wondering, why it suddenly did not work anymore (I am also used to this way of starting a video from Plex). |
