Android TV - no HDR - VRC - 2024-05-30
I have set up a fresh jellyfin server on my unraid, and installed the client app on my android TV.
It looks like the HDR is not getting picked up by my tv. The movie is being played but it does not look like HDR is there, and there is no hdr notification and my tv is not switching to the hdr calibrated mode.
Jellyfin dashboard says it is directly playing and that the files are fully compatible.
If I switch to libVCL the HDR gets detected, but it does not want to load all subtitles, and there is a audio sync problem. I think I also read that DV is not supported on libVCL?
Plex is also able to play with HDR on the same file. It has some different issues however, so I want to try out jellyfin.
Is there something I need to do to get this to work?

What kind of Android TV device do you have and what version of Android is it running?

What kind of Dolby Vision is it? DV5? 7.6? 8.1?
