Jellyfin Chromecast message appearing on screen - Ghorlan91 - 2024-05-31 Hello everyone! I'm using a DS423 NAS with Jellyfin 10.8.13 from SynologyCommunity as a server and every time I log in to my TV with Chromecast it's now displaying the following message: Update your server from 10.8.13 to at least 10.9.0 to continue using the app after the next update. The issue is that the SynologyCommunity Jellyfin server version is 10.8.13 and there doesn't seem to be a way to have this updated. Any ideas on how to resolve this issue? Since the community app is created by a 3rd party the Jellyfin Project has no control over when it gets updated. I'm new to the NAS world so didn't want to tinker around with Docker just yet. Do I get to keep my server if I "move" it from the SynoCommunity app to the Docker app? That's my fear. Also, is there an official guide I could follow on how to set up Jellyfin via Docker? I'm not familiar with how SynoCommunity handles Jellyfin, but if you can't find the config folder, I would ask on the them directly.
