Scan takes soo long after 10.9.x - Rubén Navarro López - 2024-06-03 Before the big update, the scans were 100% after 10-20 minutes (I have 2 very large disk). But since 10.9.x, it definitly takes longer (1-3h or more), and now the very last version, 10.9.4, for some reason, is reescaning some of my shows and anime (and wrong). I'm trying different numbers on the new feature under General, Performance section "Parallel library scan tasks limit" It was at 0 and now I'm trying 4, let's see if it improve something.... Anyone with the same problem? Regards! RE: Scan takes soo long after 10.9.x - Rubén Navarro López - 2024-06-03 Also, another problem I am facing with the new update is that when there is a movie/show that Jellyfin has detected incorrectly, when I try to correct it it is not corrected, I have to change the name of the file by hand until it reads it correctly. RE: Scan takes soo long after 10.9.x - TheDreadPirate - 2024-06-03 Can you share your jellyfin log via pastebin? This one's a known issue, I think it's on the tracker. The workaround I've used is deleting the movie/show's .nfo file, then using "Identify" to select the right movie. For some reason Jellyfin gets stuck, unable to rewrite the nfo file if it already exists. RE: Scan takes soo long after 10.9.x - Rubén Navarro López - 2024-06-03 Hello, this is the link of my logs: https://pastebin.com/UUFx5N8h I have a lot of logs, so I don't know if its the right one the name is: FFmpeg.DirectStream-2024-06-03_20-18-12_1508f67a8da63c1a0c33b749a8512939_8533bbf5 Thank you in advance (2024-06-03, 05:22 PM)kandykarter Wrote:(2024-06-03, 03:52 PM)Rubén Navarro López Wrote: Also, another problem I am facing with the new update is that when there is a movie/show that Jellyfin has detected incorrectly, when I try to correct it it is not corrected, I have to change the name of the file by hand until it reads it correctly. oh, I see, thank you for your advice! RE: Scan takes soo long after 10.9.x - TheDreadPirate - 2024-06-03 The ffmpeg logs only deal with playback. I need the main Jellyfin log. The file name starts with "log". I had a similar issue until I updated to 10.9.4, but it was directly related to Music libraries: https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-long-library-scans-musicbrainz-rate-limit-change If you scan each library manually, do any of them complete faster or slower than expected? Any [ERR]'s in the jellyfin.log? RE: Scan takes soo long after 10.9.x - Rubén Navarro López - 2024-06-03 It only takes that much time just when I scan a new show/anime, and the computer cpu and disk usage is normal... About the logs, as always, pastebin doesn't allow me to upload the entire log, so lets try with mega: https://mega.nz/file/rA5CADSB#6SXggAbxr3fUeV4msqd75QFZ5deByhDCxhJQT4P40qY can you download it? RE: Scan takes soo long after 10.9.x - TheDreadPirate - 2024-06-03 I see your library adding and removing stuff repeatedly. Not sure what is causing it. RE: Scan takes soo long after 10.9.x - Rubén Navarro López - 2024-06-03 And what should I do? Everything came with the 10.9.X, could it be a new feature that is causing this? |
