Jellyfin stopped working, it says select server and then unable to connect - jigsatics - 2024-06-06

My Jellyfin server in my Synology NAS (installed via container manager) has been working flawlessly for over a year, but this weekend, it stopped working. I can get to the Jellyfin home page, but it does not detect the server. When I select the server, it cannot connect.

There are no changes to the router settings and the container is up according to Container Manager.

I looked at the logs and this is what I saw:

Code:
"
2024/06/05 20:55:58,stdout,Emby.Server.Implementations.IO.LibraryMonitor Error in Directory watcher for: /tv

2024/06/05 20:55:58,stdout,System.IO.IOException: The configured user limit (8192) on the number of inotify watches has been reached"

I found the fix in a recent post. Delete the network.xml in the /config folder.
