Jellyfin mirror update - Rohan - 2024-06-06

Hi all,
Just installed Jellyfin, which went perfect in Debian 12.
If I now upgrade, I get this error:

E: Failed to fetch https://ams1.mirror.jellyfin.org/files/debian/dists/bookworm/main/binary-amd64/Packages.gz  File has unexpected size (1899 != 1898). Mirror sync in progress? [IP: 2a03:b0c0:2:d0::4eb:1 443]
  Hashes of expected file:

E: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Looks like a file size discrepancy for which SHA check aborts the download(s).
Can you tell me how I can sync or update ignoring the installed version until the next update of Jellyfin? Suppose the filesize is matched then again.

Th@nks
Jos

RE: Jellyfin mirror update - TheDreadPirate - 2024-06-06

There was probably an issue syncing between mirrors.

In /etc/apt/sources.list.d/jellyfin.sources you can edit URL from https://repo.jellyfin.org to https://fra1.mirror.jellyfin.org/ and go directly to a different mirror of our repo.

@joshuaboniface

Are you able to check why the Amsterdam mirror checksum failed?
