Trick play / Roku - Mushie - 2024-06-12
I recently updated to v10.9.6 and have generated the trick play files. When I view the videos on the web browser or the Android app, I can scroll along and can see the video thumbnails to skip commercials, etc...
However, when using Jellyfin thru Roku, there are no video thumbnails. Is this a known issue or am I doing something wrong. I haven't been able to find any topics/threads specific to trick play and Roku.
My server is on a spare Windows 10 machine.

AFAIK, only web based clients support trickplay at the moment. But work going on to add trickplay support to both the Roku and Android TV apps.

Thanks for the info. Hope it is added in the near future. It's the one feature my wife really likes on the competition.
