Missing rpm for rhel9? - Kayshan - 2024-06-22 Hello, I hope I'm in the right place and that my question hasn't already been posted on the forum. I'm on almalinux 9 and since jellyfin-10.8.13-1.el9 , I don't see any update in the rpmfusion repository. I've done some research and haven't found anyone else with exactly the same problem. I also found this website: https://koji.rpmfusion.org/koji/packageinfo?packageID=648 The RPM repository for RHEL 9 has the status "Failed" for jellyfin-10.9.6-1.el9. I know the rpmfusion repository is not under the control of jellyfin but maybe someone here has a solution for me? ![]() Thank you very much! RE: Missing rpm for rhel9? - QuarkSolution - 2024-06-24 You can use the EL8 build instead, it works perfectly on EL9. https://koji.rpmfusion.org/koji/buildinfo?buildID=29082
Install directly from the links of the four RPMs, jellyfin-firewalld, jellyfin-server, jellyfin-web, and jellyfin. RE: Missing rpm for rhel9? - Kayshan - 2024-06-24 Thank you! I will try that ![]() RE: Missing rpm for rhel9? - Kayshan - 2024-07-05 Thank you again, my problem is solved ! RE: Missing rpm for rhel9? - funkmata - 2024-07-31 In case anyone is curious or comes here from a Google search, rpmfusion will no longer host updates to Jellyfin on el9. See my reply in https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-el9-jellyfin-10-9-rpm-builds and the discussion in https://bugzilla.rpmfusion.org/show_bug.cgi?id=6951#c8 RE: Missing rpm for rhel9? - Kayshan - 2024-08-02 Thank you for this information. It's a pity for Almalinux/RockyLinux users. I wish I could help with this but unfortunately I don't have the skills and there seems to be a lack of interest in RHEL. My only way of helping is usually through donations but apparently that's not necessary at the moment: https://forum.jellyfin.org/t-we-re-good-seriously I hope the situation will change for the better ![]() |
