Figured out the "Organize shows and movies by genre" without multiple libraries issue - MayBeABanana - 2024-06-26 So, I had this random this random thought after seeing that "TV Networks" pulls data from the metadata for both movies and shows. By adding a folder in the JellyfinServer/metadata/studios folder for different genres, you can then use the "Studios" section as the genre section and it will compile them all together. Then it's just a matter of setting TV Networks as your default view and there you go. Also, in the the lock these items area at the bottom of each ones metadata, I unchecked Studios, so I think that way it shouldn't overwrite them. It hasn't so far. So now I don't have to go through and create several libraries to accomplish the same thing, and I can do a mix of movies and shows together.
